For those who like things sweet + tart + smokey + spicy, this is my favorite cranberry sauce recipe (yes, it’s my favorite part of the meal):
- Grab a sauce pan
- Chop fine then sauté a shallot and some fresh ginger in the pan
- Throw in a bag of cranberries
- Add two big spoonfuls of brown sugar
- Add a splash of bourbon
- Add a splash of maple syrup
- Zest an orange into the pan
- Cook until it’s jam consistency
- Enjoy!
